Teaching your kids to be includers

Whatever you teach your kids,
however you choose to do so,
remember to teach them to be includers:

To notice the outsiders.
To welcome new faces.
To respect differences.
To reach out to the lonely.
To be thoughtful.
To choose kindness.

You get to model these things. And gently point out to your kids when they are – and they aren’t – making the choice to be includers.

You just never know the difference your child may make in someone else’s world.

Truly.
